Our New Girl - a play reading

by Nancy Harris

November 7 at 3pm
The Mansion on O St
2020 O St NW, Washington, DC 20036

We’re delighted to announce that our free Play Reading Series is coming back to one of our audience-favorite locations - The Mansion on O St. Join us for an afternoon with a new play read by some of DC's most talented performers, followed by a post-show discussion with Artistic Director of Theatre, Rex Daugherty. Chatting with audiences about the new scripts in the Play Reading Series is one of the most direct ways our community informs what shows we choose for full production. This is your invitation to be in the room where it happens!

Solas Nua’s play reading series continues with this thriller mystery by Nancy Harris. The event is in person and indoors. Proof of vaccination is required to attend. The reading is free but registration is required.

About the Play
Behind the shiny door of Hazel Robinson's immaculate London home, things aren't as good as they look. Her plastic surgeon husband, Richard, has embarked on his latest charitable mission to Haiti, leaving the heavily pregnant Hazel to cope with a failing business and a problem son. When a professional nanny arrives unannounced on her doorstep, Hazel finds her home under the shadow of a seemingly perfect stranger, and one who has an agenda of her own.
