In this delightful tale of grief, reincarnation and reconnection, Bríd Ní Neachtain (THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, SONG OF GRANITE) stars as the recently widowed Róise, who comes to believe that a local stray dog embodies the spirit of her late husband Frank. Isolated since his death two years ago, the appearance of the mysterious dog shakes Róise out of herself. Ignoring protests from her son (Cillian O'Gairbhi, FOSCADH) and others, a rejuvenated Róise goes all-out to indulge the dog's love of hurling, steak and a favorite chair, while starting to believe in reincarnation. This warm-hearted and witty shaggy-dog story from directing duo Rachael Moriarty and Peter Murphy (TRADERS) and producer Cúán Mac Conghail (ARRACHT) is a testament to finding hope in the darkest of places. (Note adapted from Irish Film Institute.) Winner, Best Comedy Feature, 2022 San Diego International Film Festival; Winner, Audience Choice Award, 2022 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
