It's a testament to the exceptional talent and skill in Irish cinema being recognized internationally. We're thrilled to learn that the Solas Nua Capital Irish Film Festival inaugural 2022 Norman Houston Short Film Award winner "An Irish Goodbye" has been nominated in the Best Short Film category. Directed and written by Ross White and Tom Berkeley, An Irish Goodbye tells a story of two estranged brothers who come together after their mother's death and the film wowed CIFF audiences last year.
The 2023 Capital Irish Film Festival takes place from March 2-5 2023. Highlights from the program will be announced soon and passes are now on sale!
The 2023 Norman Houston Award will be announced on February 2nd as part of the full festival line-up.
