Solas Nua would love to see your work!
We are casting DC local Equity and Non-Equity actors for our play reading series and main stage productions.

Although Solas Nua has a culturally specific mission statement, we believe that mission is only possible by showcasing the multicultural identity of modern Ireland. Ireland today is diverse and multi-racial, and Solas Nua is passionate about presenting that identity to the United States. We strongly encourage artists of all ethnicities to apply for this production. Over the past 5 years (2018-2022), Solas Nua’s demographic of theatre productions has been: 44% created by/with BIPOC playwrights; 44% created by/with female playwrights; 22% created by/with white male playwrights.
*Note – 110% because some shows were co-written.
